It might not seem like it, but I have been very busy over the past few weeks. Because it is the holidays, I have been making many pieces for people as gifts as well as working on commissioned pieces for others to give as gifts.
Since Christmas is this weekend, most of the illustrations are done (with a small exception of works that I will be gifting, whoops). I am so proud of many of them and wish I could post them, but seeing as they are gifts, I can't. Also, sadly, because I do not currently have access to SCAD's amazing resources, I don't have a large format scanner to record some of the works. SO SAD.
However, I did take a really fuzzy photo with my iPhone of this linocut I did of my friend's niece. She is such a precious little girl whose nickname is "Bunny". The image is supposed to be pink, but because of the quality it looks more red. I love the way this one came out and just had to share!
Hopefully I will be able to post some of my new pieces in the next few weeks!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Ohhhhh Bunny!
ReplyDeleteMercer LOVED her linocut! I think it was the best gift under the tree! Thank you for making such a beautiful work that captured her perfectly!
