I've been busy over the past few weeks preparing materials that will be my visual "identity," as I've designed everything from business cards to mailers, a portfolio, and even key chains and lip balm with a consistent and unique "Lis" branding and style (Below is a mood board of things that ultimately inspired my business system and identity). After all this work, I realized I have neglected to focus on my online identity.
This realization came about recently when I noticed that my "about me" section of my blog as well as my descriptions on other online outlets were looking far too similar to other illustrators. Since I am in the midst of building an identity as an illustrator and designer, I want to be a true ORIGINAL. This has driven me to update my descriptions. I hope the new writing reflects a bit more of my personality like the visual part of my branding has.
(yes, my cat made my inspiration board)
