Taylor Swift

Ahhhh, the sweet smell of youthful optimism! That's what I think when I hear a Taylor Swift song. Full of idealistic imagery of Prince Charming riding up on his white horse to sweep you off your feet and ride off into the sunset with. I gotta give it to Tay Tay, she still believes. She believes that true love really does exist and that a dude will complete her.

Little does she know that that ain't a reality for most young women. Most young women Taylor's age throw themselves at beer chugging frat dudes who appear to be cool. Others settle for someone who treats them like an afterthought, because being in a mediocre relationship is better than being in none at all.

I'm glad that she still believes, but why wouldn't she? She's young, beautiful, talented, and incredibly famous. I'm pretty sure she'll find someone easily.
