Summer Goal Week 4

What's the song I have been working on for this week you ask? Well, it is none other than the undisputed song of the summer California Girls by Katy Perry. I remember exactly where I was when I first heard this song. It was at the end of the spring in Lacoste, when I was wrapping up my assistant teaching and getting ready for our final art exhibition. All semester, I had only 4 songs on my iTunes, and I immediately added this song. I went from playing Rihanna's Rude Boy on repeat while I got ready in the morning to blasting this song instead.

Some people aren't a fan of this song, maybe because it is over played, but it is undeniable that it had to be used for my summer project! I am really happy with the way that this turned out, and I will definitely do some tweaking to it over the coming weeks. I know I was falling behind on my summer goal, and wanted to put it out for y'all to see ASAP. I hope you like it!

Here are some of the lyrics in case you aren't familiar with the tune:

California girls
We're unforgettable
Daisy Dukes
Bikinis on top
Sun-kissed skin
So hot
We'll melt your Popsicle
Oooooh oh oooooh

California girls
We're undeniable
Fine, fresh, fierce
We got it on lock
Westcoast represent
Now put your hands up
Oooooh oh oooooh
