Freelance Baby

Everyone, give me a huge round of applause because last week I got my first freelance gig! WOO HOO!

I was asked to help make an advertisement for an NYC fashion showroom to run in Modem Magazine. Below are three options/ideas I submitted. Obviously there would be text accompanying these images, but they have been left out so that you can appreciate the illustrations themselves. I really like the below images. I think they're super fun and girly, and I'm really excited that my style is expanding and going in a new direction.

Unfortunately none of the above images were not quite what they were looking for, so I've been spending a lot of time in the computer lab putting together something else, which luckily, the showroom likes! Yay! Stay tuned for that image. I'll post it once it's officially done. I'm still toying with typeface colors, etc. I think you'll like it, because I do!
