Operation Beautiful

This illustration is about a worldwide campaign called Operation Beautiful, which was started by a young woman in North Carolina. Frustrated and sick of struggling with body image issues and feeling badly about her image, she impulsively wrote "You are beautiful" on a post-it note and put it up on a mirror in a public bathroom. She began to do this more often at other random places and started a blog to document her ventures. She began receiving emails from women near and far who had found her notes and been inspired. Other woman began to join in and started leaving notes of inspiration for other women everywhere.
