Disney Princess Half Marathon

My big race is on February 27th at 5:45am (yikes).

I did this race last year and it is a really great environment to run a half marathon. Everyone running has really good energy and is super excited. Also, people dress up in all sorts of costumes and have special t-shirts made, etc. Last year I was so nervous I didn't run with anything special, but this year my parents were kind enough to get t-shirts printed for the big race! The design for the shirt is below. The phrase is based on what my mom used to call me when I would whine/cry that I didn't want to clean my room. She'd say "Poor Cinder-Lissy". Haha.

I'll be sporting this while I run and my sister and friend Bri will be sporting them while they cheer from the sidelines! Thanks mom and dad for getting these for me, I can't wait to get them in the mail!

  6. It's a very fun event but it's really cold at the beginning. Make sure to bring gloves, a headband and a sweatshirt, all of which you are ok with taking off and discarding as you run and the sun comes out!
